For crawling around it is fine. There are optional engagement springs in the kit,but even the lower of the two is a bit higher than stock,I'm sure you will be fine with that ...the engagement is slightly higher, but it is part of the control of the flyweight action..this kit was designed to work together.
The engine brake is not effected by the clutch kit,..but the overdrive cover has no kebc bearing and requires disabling of the engine brake.
..but you know ,actually, the engine braking of this machine is done with the belt system at all speeds except VERY low speeds when the servo motor kicks in...that is the only part of the engine braking you would lose with the overdrive cover. When you really think about it....how much do you need engine brake at VERY low speed?..Personally I prefer to control braking a very low speeds myself.
This is probably so many racers in the GNCC with Brute Force ATV's disable the engine brake system....it is constantly throwing them over the handlebars at low speeds when they least expect it.
...but the clutch kit itself doesn't effect the servo motor system, only the overdrive cover.
This kit is expensive sounding, and it is our most expensive,...but when you consider that it is one clutch kit that is like having ten different kits in one ,along with a set-up instruction manual that will show you adjustments for all tire sizes and big bores, etc for future..it is not so bad.
Let alone the fact that it is much cheaper than buying all those expensive belts like you are currently doing.
