Just remove the screws at the top of the dash and two screws on each side of the teryx. Then take two bolts out below each head light, and unplug the head lights. The hood can be lifted up and supported by a strap or broom stick.
It only takes a few minutes to pull the hood, but it may take up to a half hour to reinstall it. I had problems getting my screws to line back up while re-installing the hood. Make sure not to loose any of the little metal clips that the screws go into.
I personally would not remove the cage. You can remove the hood by yourself, but would have to envite some friends over to get the cage off.
