You don't know how lucky you are, like Rutcutter said that could have been bad. Years ago, we had Honda Odesseys and we used wrist restaints, because the natural reaction is to stick your arm out to stop a roll.
Several people I knew had that happen and I caught myself almost doing the same thing, best thing is to hold on and hope for the best.
