Check the all new FST UTV size race pritective leather inner and outer CV boots. They cover over the stock rubber CV boot and add some extra protection when racing across the rough dezert!! The boots are designed to fit all UTVs on the market!!

Looks like from the picture you have to Completely remov ethe Axle to install them??
I would think yuo would want them Removable so that a person could inspect thier CV boots if needed without completely tearing down the UTV

You thinking making it actually more of a wrap than a cover.
What about cutting it and then sewing in industrial velcro on either side so that you could open it up and check things out?

Yes you do have remove the CV and CV housing to install them. As for inspecting the rubber boot the leather boot can slide down the axle once you loosen the clamp!! Quote:
The only problem with velcro is if a stick or rock hits the cover/wrap it could remove it from the axle!! Its a thought but im not sure it would stay on the axle!!

Yes that is a good point. I guess I had thought if you turned the velcro area towards the inside, you would reduce the chances of getting it snagged, plus you still have the clamp. But I suppose when it comes to driving offroad, anything is possible.

The leather CV boot covers run $60.00 each but if you buy a pack of 4 there $55.00 each. Thats a savings of $5.00 each. Dont forget the 10% forum discount also!!!
Thanks 2X
