I want to run some extra lights on the Teryx but I can't mount any to the top of the cage or it won't fit in the toy hauler. Anybody find different ways to mount them? Pictures?

Mezzanine, I understand your concern. I frequently load my Teryx in the old Toy hauler. I found a light bar made by DG Rhinos on sidebysidesports.com that bolts into the factory cage. It was around $120 give or take a few dollars. Point is when I pull into the Toy hauler it will fold down parallel to the top of the cage and you should not have any clearance issues. I have gotten used to pulling up the ramp and reaching out and folding the light bar down with one hand. Here is a picture if I can get it to load up.

That's not a bad idea. Is it completely parralel to the top of the cage? It comes that close to hitting on the toy hauler. I already have to air down and have somebody sit on the passenger side. I installed a flag mount that barely was higher then the cage and now I need to remove it every time to pull it in the trailer. I'll check it out for sure though.

Ah Ha!! someone else that has felt my pain. I might have some valuable info for you. If you are lucky your clearance issues in the trailer are due to the queen bed at the ramp. As well if your lucky it is an electric bed. If that is the case most manufacturers have another set of bed support holes three inches higher and you and a friend can unpin the bed. Then move the support brackets up. When I figured that one out I was able to increase the clearance from 75.6" to 78.6". Hope this helps.

Didn't answer your question. If you look at the close up picture the mount is ruunning parallel to the cage mainly because it bolts into the factory holes. I guess if I wanted to I could fold the light bar completely perpendicular to the cage and I still would not have anything sticking above the cage.

On a side note, I don't know what upgrades your planning if any. Most of the after market cage manufacturers build there cages both 2 and 4 seat cages several inches lower than the stock cage anywhere from 2"-6" lower.

You know what. I never bothered to look to see if I can raise the bed at all. Funny thing is, I hardly use the bed at all, just constantly in my way. I will check in the morning when I get home from work. I play on putting a 4 seat cage on it eventually, but that is a couple years away probably. I could use another 3 inches of clearance as that would mean I don't have to have somebody sit in the car to load it.

I have bought some of those $120 hid lights that are 7" diameter and mounted them in front. I welded up 2= 1/4" x 2.5" x 7" flat plat into an "L" shape. I mounted them to the cross bar in front under the plastic. It did not turn out bad, but this was just to get them installed to see how we liked them. They worked great. Anyway you can get them in 4" as well. For a hundred dollars they work great and when and or if you break the housing, you can epoxy them back together in a few minutes. First trip with them at Winchester one night I was with the buddies and got into an area with some trees and large tree wells. Anyway I got it fixed. Sorry no pictures. Theyy were free, just took a couple of hours.

I'll have to check those out. I bought some HID conversion already and test those out first. I want to put a stereo in the car too and I know I'm not working with much of a charging system so I've got to pick and choose what I run.
