Default Underhood Battery Tray

Not sure if something like this has hit the market yet, however, I will potentially need to add a second battery here in the future. Does anyone know if someone out there has built a battery tray for under the hood of the Teryx?

I have not found anything yet....but the existing compatment is big enough to put an automotive battery in. Do you guys think that an automotive battery will hold up to the bouncing?

If I was going with an auto battery it would have to be a gel battery. Either optima or oddesy and this is an option I was thinking about.

Absolutely a gell type battery as mentioned above is the way to go. We are actually going to look at the battery tray option next week.

Are you going to build a new tray for the battery under the seat? That is my plan to get a tray for an optima under the seat. Stay tuned for details.

Not sure, but you still need a place to mount it...unfortunately, we do not have a lot of available room to work with. It is a possibility though.
