Default Electrical Issues With Deep Water Crossings

A few weeks back by buddy (Rhino owner) decided he was going to traverse a wash that had a decent about of run off in it. Ever since then, he is having electrical issue after electrical issue. Now keep in mind that the battery is actually higher on the Rhino being that it is under the hood, where on the Teryx it is under the drivers seat. I only bring up the fact that he has a Rhino to get an understanding if any of you who have participated in deep water crossings have had any sort of electrical problems.

On a recent ride my cousin and his brother in law were both playing in water that was almost to the tops of the seats. I have talked to him several times since then and he has reported no trouble at all. I will be riding/camping with them on Memorial day and will bring this up again and see what he says.

Ya let me know...I am thinking in my buddies case we are going to have to put some dielectric grease on his connectors or something.

I went in water deep enough to get my ass wet, this was high enough to get in the clutches....still no electrical issues. I greased up the connectors at new though.

Sounds to me like the grease is the key to ensure no problems.
