Anyone go through and do sound deadening? Maybe on the engine/trans hump etc.
Maybe pictures and product your using? dyno-mat extreme and dyno-mat hood liner seems the most appropriate. I notice under the bed they (kawa) used a similiar application above the muffler, but it appears to be for heat transfer purposes. |

I just used a roll of sound/heat insulation material I picked up at a Auto parts store - No name on it, but it is primarily for heat /sound reduction. I glued it to all the plastic panels around the engine and although I have not got it all back together yet (waiting for other parts) I expect it will make a huge difference. I also double wrapped my Muzzy Header pipes as well, so that will make a big difference too. Not only heat but sound in the cab was something I wanted to diminish
I took pics but I need to dig them up and get them posted, hopefully this coming weekend. |
