What do they do on the carb heater recall as the fix?

I don't have the time to take mine in so I was going to do it myself.

ground strap i beleive

It was my understanding that it was the gauge of the wire and the type of insulation on the wire, but I am not certain.

The ground wire going to the carb heater element should be cut and a new wire run from the carb heater element ground to the bolt on the belt inspection plate cover.
