Default Teryx stock side body plastic

I had a little snafu on the trails. Is there a better way? What happens is that when you bottom out on rocks, the bottom screw brackets get tweaked. Then with them not holding well, a piece of root or log can easily rip a big chunk out of the side plastic as you can see in the pics.

Has anyone figured out a solution to this problem?

Do a search on Kawasaki parts, the side panel that you want is listed for $36.15 on Babbits site.

Nerf bars might help some, but if you catch a rock or limb sticking out higher, I would think you'll still get some damage. Its a pretty cheesey set up the way they mounted the plastic, I had mine buckled the first time thru the woods, lots of logs to cross.
