I'm in the process of rebuilding an 09 Teryx 750 engine. The wobble test of the valve guides showed the exhaust valves to have ~0.013" clearance. The service limit is 0.014", but I think it's time to replace the guides. Has anybody done this on a Teryx or Brute Force 750? Is it possible to heat the heads and freeze the guides and have enough clearance to install the guides without galling or any other issues? I was planning to just use a socket on the guide flange, or would I need special tools?
Thanks in advance for any help
