which winch plate and doesnt it fit in stock opening under the rad

Yes, there is a winch plate that makes the winch fit on the Teryx front bumper. It will not fit without the plate.

Try Moto alliance, they sell Viper winches. I've always used Warn winches, but they had a 4000# winch on sale for $120.00 dollars, so I thought I'd try one. Anyway they sell a winch mount plate for $40.00 that will work with the Warn winch, I know this because I put it up to my warn winch mount and they line up exactly. We'll see how good their Winches work, have'nt had no need to use it yet.

thanks for the help but i have since bought a mount plate from hunter works they had a how to video kodos to them . i bought my 4000lb winch from rocky mountain atv good price 459.00 no tax free ship can't go wrong

I had to add 2 washers (under each bolt), for an exact line up. Don't know if this helps...but thats what I did.
