Default Cure for the oil bathed filter?

Just wondering if we have got a fix for the oil bathed air filter yet, seems like Kawa should fix this to me? I get what seems like a cup of oil after 2-3 hours of hard running, and I am sick.....SICK of cleaning out the filter. My other concern is; if this oil gets into the air box, then drains back down...it is carrying dirt and dust back down to the motor, seems logical that it would anyway.

The big bore guys often run into this. I*f you contact Four Stroke Tech or Fundy they can give better details. They do have a fix. It involves adding another vent line to the rear cylinder, and t'ing them together into a YFZ 450 plastic catch can(that is used on that model for the same reason)...and then into the breather.

Nick at UTVCrap told me about his fix for it as well. He will have all the stuff in stock very soon. I am also tired of all the damn oil in the airbox. PITA.

Well... I sure ain't lazy.... so I must be stupid.... but I can't for the life of me find this on UTVCraps' webpage. I am sure I want some type of plug-catchcan, I do not want to drill any more holes than needed. Maybe someone can find the link and steer me towards it.

I think UTV crap has them. I can not find them on their site either, but this is what they look like. I would call them and ask for it.

If you e-mail me I will send you the info with pics of what I send out with my kits. It's funny how Kawasaki has changes the breather tube size 3 times now to fix this problem and it hasn't worked yet. 4stroke@embarqmail.com
