Anybody have a link for the pics?
Yes I have almost rolled mine not at speed but in super slow rutts where I stuck out my foot and kept it from rolling. Probably not the best idea, but it is what I did. |

You have to get rid of that habbit as it will snap that leg in half, let the suck roll its not gonna hurt anything that cant be replaced.

You don't know how lucky you are, like Rutcutter said that could have been bad. Years ago, we had Honda Odesseys and we used wrist restaints, because the natural reaction is to stick your arm out to stop a roll.
Several people I knew had that happen and I caught myself almost doing the same thing, best thing is to hold on and hope for the best. |

You guys are right. I need to just get a good cage and get restraints if I can't do it on my own. I can't go wider because I am in ATV land and all the trails are very narrow except at the largest places to ride where more UTV's go.....
I will do that soon. I don't want to be stupid and screw my family over me having fun in the Teryx, you guys are right. |

What I learned: the stock shocks are the primary cause for rollovers.
Adding spacers helps, but at a price. The steering does stiffen up. In fact, if you lock the front diff and the tires grab, it will rip the steering wheel out of your hands. Tires and wheels probably help, but I can say the biggest difference came from switching shocks. Go with what you want, but stock suck. They cant be adjusted and are mismatched front to rear. The fronts are way to soft and the rears too stiff. I tried different things to try and pinpoint the problem; just changing the tires, just changing the shocks, then a combo of both. I sit two inches higher then stock with my shocks, but have two inches of sag built in. The biggest difference with these, is when I turn the wheel side to side, I have roll. With stock shocks, the tires wanted to come up and sometimes did. Again, go with whoever you want, but stay away from the factory shocks. Unless you lighten the Teryx and mess with the pre-load, they dont work. |

Always felt pretty stable riding. I don't have any experience with other UTV's since this is the first one I've owned and been in. I've only take it on a few trails, but this weekend its going to the dunes. I did buy paddles and mohawks with some offset so hopefully that will help.
