Default Gas pedal

So what has everyone done to remedy the gas pedal surge when riding? I know that they make pedals that move the throttle closer to the driveshaft hump and that some are using a heel riser, but I guess what i'm asking is what one seems to be the most effective?

As I said in an earlier topic, I don't know if it helps you, but I replaced the tension spring on the pedal and I no longer have the "jerky" response, the pedal is a lot lighter, and that may make a difference to some.

I seen that, but was wanting some response on it before breaking out the welder. I've got plenty of angle iron laying around, guess I'll weld one up this weekend and try it. Thanks.

I don't know if anybody else has tried replacing the spring, but it only took me 5 minutes and no extra add on stuff. Add on stuff for me, only means more MUD accumulation!
And the little lady of the house loves it too.

It was the throttle return spring I used, sure any vehicle that has this return spring would work, I did have to modify it buy cutting and re-bending hooks to shorten original length.
