Default HowTo Vid: Do you have oil in your airbox? *Part 2 Added*

I got some people emailing and PM'ing about the Oil in the Airbox in the Jetting Clip I made, so I figured I would do a complete Oil in the Air box video.

The purpose of this video is to show you:
1. How to tell if you have oil in your air box.
2. How to get rid of it temporarily.
3. How to hopefully solve it forever.

This is part 1 of a 2 part series. It is approx 12 minutes long.
Thank you for watching, I hope this helps encourage you to maintain your Teryx!!

Will

This is part 1 of the 2 part series.

This is part 2 of the 2 part series. After a 30 mile HARD ride, no oil leaking from my filter on the siphon break. AWESOME. Video of the ride is on my Youtube page in signature. So far, I am extremely happy with the results.

Im running my oil level midway on the stick, done that on my brute and it works on the teryx but im gonna go out and pull my lid and check it out.

Default Great Video

Great info for a new Teryx owner...I only have 8 hrs on mine & haven't even looked at the airbox yet! This makes the inspection process easy...Thanks

Yes I have seen the video and I am going to have to break down and get one of those caps.

I never had the issue for a long time either then poof... one day it started. I also run my oil level 10-40 Mobile 1 Racing oil at half stick.

Interested to hear what you find.

Thank you flteryx, you will LOVE the machine, it gets more fun all the time as I learn it better and better.

Update: I tried to install the UTVCrap siphon break and it will not work. The nipple on the tank is to small to fit the Teryx breather hose. Gotta see what I can do to make it work.

OK so frustration leads to research and here is what I found.

You can buy the tank from Honda it is a 17255-HN1-000 from a Honda 400EX, I think you need them to search 03 or 04 models to see the correct part number. At my local dealer they cost roughly 13.00 retail.

Update, with the help of Todd from Hunterworks I found a reducer that allowed me to install the Rhino siphon break on my Teryx. Video is pulling from the camcorder now and part 2 of the vid will be available later.

Test ride went great, my Teryx is screaming. Coming soon, Dalton clutch kit and overdrive cap install video.
