Check out Highlifters forum, there is a guy on there that has 29.5s on his and does'nt mention a lift kit, he does say he has spacers.

dont think they make 29" backs and 30's wont fit so i would say 28's on stock wheels with no lift

Default tires

I mounted up a 27"x10" mudbug on a factory front rim and it just slightly touched the tierod end.The teryx needs wider offset rims or spacers.

I'd go with the Maxxis Mudzilla. They offer 28" in a 8" front and 10" back. All the height with less power robbing width. I think they are 6 ply non-radial, so they should handle the biggest buck that you can fit into the bed.

I have 28in mudlites on stock rims and they do not rub. If you check out the photos on this site and lookup teryx on 28in mudlites you can see what it looks like.
