Default HW HMF vs. HMF XL exhaust test

I came in this am and put the quiet core in the Swamp Series from HMF and re tested it.

It is quieter. 92db at 6000rpm and 98db under load.

HMF claims no loss in power and if you looked at peak HP then you might agree but at 35 mph the curves start seperating showing a clear loss using the quiet core over no core with a net loss of about 4 hp at 52 mph..

Below are the tests which compare the Swamp Series and the XL

First test is the standard dyno run and the second is our loaded test.

Funny thing, Muzzy put on their site that their system gained 12 HP and this was done by independent testing. I called and ask where they got that info from, this forum and my results. LOL Funny they didn't say it was 12hp on the loaded test.

Well it is true and the system is the best I think you can buy for a Teryx so they are not that bad off if they do.
