There is not a CDI for the 2009 yet ..... very soon. All the manufacture we have talked to say 2 - 4 weeks. You can go with the hunterworks speed box. It will give you more top speed, but you will lose some bottom end timming to get it. You can uncork the canister and gain about 2 HP with no other issues. we have a intake that will add about 1 hp and offer a solid clamping surface. After that it will take a full system. The muzzy will add about 5 over the baffle out and the Dasa's will add about 6 over the baffle out. Both will need a fuel controller to get the correct a/f . We have power commander fuel controllers instock with maps for both systems.

Seems to me that spending the money on a speed box is a waste when a CDI will be out soon. I would put on a muzzy's exhaust, dalton clutch kit w/ od plate, and replace the stock filter w/ a Uni (I wasn't impressed w/ the stock filter and am wary of gauze filters w/o a wrap in the sand) , and wait for the CDI. I think I remember Hunterwork's (but double check w/ him) saying that you don't need a fuel controller with the Muzzys since the Teryx comes fat from the factory anyway. Just my .02

It may be ok, but it is on the edge of the A/F limit by our tests. I woudl not take a chance. Plus we made more HP when we added fuel and with any other mods you will need a fuel controller anyway. A good fuel controller is the most important mod you can do. So we now have a map for the muzzy pipes and our dasa intake/filter kit. I would do the Dasa intake/filter kit, muzzy or Dasa pipes, power commander and a clutch kit. We will have our full billet clutch hats out soon. Either way since you are stuck at 50 no use in installing the clutch hat.

The clutch kit and cap will be FORSURE worth doing. The cap will not do much for you though till you get past the stock speed limiter with a new cdi box.

With the pipes, intake and fuel controller you will get 8 HP over stock. The car will run alot better no question. Once these CDI boxes come to market it will take some time to also see what one REALLY WORKS.

Definitely remove the spark arrestor from the stock exhaust. Free HP. IDK about Cali, but in AZ you need a spark arrestor for the Forest Service Roads, so either hold on to it, or make your own spark arrestor for the occasions when you need it.
