Has anyone out there tryed the cst lt kit? If so how was it? Is it pointless to use stock shocks? Is there a big differance between the different shocks they sell with the kit? And does the kit even give the teryx enough width/travle to make much of a differance. I noticed there are so many other kits that give you more travle. +5 +6 even +6.5 and the cst kit is only +3. But the kit is a good price. -let me know- thanks

Thanks for asking that question. I also have questions about LT kits.
What does the +3, +6 mean. I am assuming higher, but is there a ratio of +1 H = +? Wide? Second, who makes the most narrow LT kit? If I can't get much wider, say 3" max, is LT for me? Thank you very much for asking the question Teryx11!! |

+3 is the width. So this kit is 3" wider on each side than stock. I can't speak to the stock shocks because I changed mine when I put the long travel on. My long travel was built for different shocks. I would think you would be a little more stable because of being wider but to get a better ride I would think you need to go with better shocks. You can always do it later.

Its hard to find a lot on the CST +3. I can say that +3 adds a lot of stability. The teryx is already wider than a rhino so a +3 is probably close to a +5 on a rhino. Personally... I would expect that shocks would help more than the CST arms. While the stock shocks are better than a rhino's IMHO, they are still not top quality shocks. Maybe try shocks and rear spacers to get a feel for things. I have spacers and the difference in stability is great. Shocks are next. The only problem is that the shocks you buy need to be able to work with the arm kit you're planning for... I the woods I would be concerned about a +6 kit. +3 or 4 for me.

You best bet if you are looking for just a little more width is wheel spacers or a different offset wheel. Here is my list of Teryx long travel kits: Kawasaki Teryx Long Travel Kits - UTV Guide
