Default Big Horns 25 or 26 or 27's???????

How big of Tires can you go with out putting a lift or offset rims on??? I currently have a brand new set of 25's and in Moab I sure did bottom out a lot. I would like to go bigger to keep from bottoming out. The Rzr's that I was with had 26 and 27's.

Thanks

I probably would not go bigger than 26 in a bighorn, they run tall.

How did you bottom out and the RZR didn't there lower and the wheelbase is longer than yours? I have 27" Bighorns on mine and have 13" of ground clearance. My buddy has a RZR it bottoms out every were he has maybe 10" of clearance.

I do know that one Rzr had a 3 inch lift and the 27's and the other one is a stock S. They never bottomed out and I did all the time.

Is anyone running 28" rubber without a lift (measure 29")? Any rubbing?

26 will hit the fender and the 25 will be just right... But then again I got AFCO Shocks you may want to bring the rear up a notch.

I am running 26" horns with WER shocks and they work great and do not rub anywhere. MUCH more rubber than the stick setup.

You can run either. The stock tire is a maxxis 26 so we usually go with the 26bighorn to keep the same size. The runout on a 26 bighorn is slightly bigger then a stock OEM tire and a 25 bighorn is slightly smaller.

Also if you go with the 26 you can go to a wider tire and get more tire on the ground

I am new to the utv game, but I have some mud lite xl 26" X 10 on the stock aluminum wheels on the front, and 26" X 12 on the back of my 09 teryx. I do have a little bit of rub on the front end on the inside of the tires. any ideas or do I need a set of off set wheels. it only rubs when the tire is flexing.
