Gorilla Axle has a 3" lift that still uses stock steering a arms. It looks good.

How high do you want to go?

I would imagine that you can only go so high until your axles and front drive shaft cannot reach anymore.

Then you go aftermarket on those parts. I think there is 6" to 10" lifts are in the works from at least 3 manufactures. The prices get up there similar to long travel kits then.

I would go with the extreme lift. The gorilla looks like it is made CHEEP. If you look on the gorilla web site, they have an install sheet. On the rear you have to disconnect the lower A arms and then reconnect them to some part that comes in the kit. Dont get this. Cant come up with a reason to have to do this. I would for sure go extreme .

I also saw the pictures that you posted and it scared the heck out of me, but in reading other peoples comments they love theirs!!!!!!!!!!

There is always the 1 in a 100 or 1000 issue with every product. Not sure of the back ground on the pictures attached if it was running huge tires or ? Joe at Extreme or someone on here probably does.
I'm buying a lift (and a bunch of other stuff) real soon, so just trying to make sure I go the correct way and still doing a bit of research.

I am also fixing to order my Lift and Tires. I am considering the catvos lift with the arched rear A-Arms, or the Gorilla.
