WE's from UTVCrap on the way. I will let you know how it goes, I am shooting for better fast over rough terrain handling where I get smoked now, and also better rough Tennessee rocky trail riding. Will report back, they get here Tuesday, and will of course be installed immediately.

Post what you determine Magellan. I for one am curious if it adds travel and some "race sag".

Todd, if you're out there, I'm would like to hear more about your thought from trying out varoius shocks vs stock.

Thanks.

Anybody have any ideas for minimizing bottoming out when carrying two people in back over 150lbs each. I know the best prevention would be to allow only kids or skinny people back there, and no cooler in the rack, but that can't always be.

You need to increase the preload on the rear springs.

If your preload is maxed out, I wonder if you couldn't just buy upgraded springs that would fit. I know that somewhere I saw that the WER shocks asked you when ordering if it was a 4 seater or a 2 seater. I would guess that the reason is to help with valving & spring rates.

Thanks for the help, I will stiffin my preload up as much as I can, and then if that does not help or starts to cause problems I guess I'll be looking into an aftermarket (expensive) replacement, or hopefully just a bigger badder spring.

Be careful with the increased preload when you don't have people in the back. It seems to have a tendency to make the front end dive when you jump, or more correctly probably make the rear kick upward.

Yes if you stiffen up those rear springs, you will find also when cornering, you can have a tendency of skipping, like in a pickup with nothing in the back.

Received the WE shocks from UTVCrap by 10AM, installed on the machine same day. It was easy. It took longer to jack the machine up and get it on jack stands than to install the new shocks. (I had to jack it up to remove the bottom skid plate do the Muzzy's exhaust install.)

Check out the difference in travel on the front end with the WE Shocks!! Definitely 2" or more on the front. I will let you know how it sits and take more photos when it is off the jack stands. I did not think to take a photo of the rear with only one installed, but there is nowhere near the extra travel that is on the front. In fact, the travel seems maxed out with either the stock or the WE on the rear when the machine is jacked up. IOW, when you remove the bolts on the rear stock shocks, the suspension does not get any lower like on the front. I hope I am making this point clearly...

Here is what they look like. The ones on the Right in the photo are the Rears. Resy's are the same size for front and rear.

Here is one of the fronts installed.

Here is a photo of the new increased travel with the WE installed on the left front of the machine.
BIG difference, the photo does not do it justice at all.
