Seems that Arctic Cat putting the Thunder Cat engine in the 09 Prowlers. A dealer is going to report for sure on the Arctic Cat page in June

Is this official word or rumors? Prowlers are the more popular side by sides around here so many folks will be happy....if Arctic Cat does release this monster.

Supposedly, the guy on the Arctic Cat Forum is a Dealer and has the inside scoop. We'll just have to wait and see. I figure it will have to be a major upgrade. They seem to break down an awful lot. Brakes, axles and other small problems.

Prowler XTZ 1000 , has hood scoop & handbrake, relocated air intake system, hi-perf shocks. 600lbs in the bed. 70mph+ accordingly to the engineer & the diff breakage is fixed..metallic sunset orange (think 07 700 LE color)
MSRP $13,999

XTX Stakebed... 550. (I think) no dump
