Dasa Teryx pipe Dyno Sheet

Here is a dyno sheet showing the NEW Dasaracing Teryx pipes vs. Muzzys Teryx pipes. These tests were done on our 2009 Teryx with a FST 840 kit, Dasaracing 38mm throttle bodies, Dasaracing intake, PCIII fuel controller and Dasaracing ignition. The Dasa pipes on this dyno sheet have the 16" cans with 2" end caps. We also have 14" cans with 2 1/4 end caps. Those will make about 2 more hp then the one shown on this graph.

Muzzy pipes .... no quiet core
86 db at idle
101 db at 3750 RPM

Dasaracing pipes 16" cans ... no quiet core
86 db at idle
103 db at 3750 RPM ......AND ALMOST 5 MORE HP

So with quite cores and 16" pipes what is the estimated db on the throttle and hp lost.

Do you have to rejet for quiet cores with the 08s? I assume so, but not sure.

What is db at full throttle of both? What is the db with stock for DB for comparison? Thank you in advance.

16"can with quiet cores
idle - 82db
3750 - 102db

dont remember exact hp loss, but peak hp loss was minimal. It did lose the bottom and mid.

Looks good but shouldn't you compare with Muzzy pro pipe made for 840 kits?

Our pipes are not just for the 840's or big bores ... our pipes make HP on stock cars too. So with us buy ONE PIPE and it makes BIG HP on both stock and modded cars. PLUS the pro pipe is just now coming out after 2 years. We will see what the pro pipe does once it comes out. Kinda funny now that we have something better they offer a new pipe? We will have one and test it as soon as it is available.

Explain how you can make a comparison with a pipe that is not even avaliable.

By those testing standards my new XXX race pipe will smoke them all. DASA should also compare their 840 to my new twin turbo kit and yes I did remove the restrictor plate.

I was under the impression they were out. I have not checked into selling them yet.

I'm no expert but I would think you might need two different systems due to less flow on a stock system so you could keep velocity up and not hurt lower rpm power.

If DASA has that figured out then kudos to them!!!

We do have option to make even more HP. We set out t make a pipe that will make as much HP as the muzzys on a basically stock teryx ...... then with the same Dasa pipes make more HP then the muzzys on a 840 or big bore build. We have done that now. That means someone can get our pipes and see great gains on a stock car, then if they later decide to go big bore the same pipes will work FLAWLESS. This same thing is true with our 450 pipes. Again we are far from new to the pipe world ..... JUST NEW TO THE TERYX WORLD.

PLUS ... for those who know they are building a big bore we have option to squeeze out even more HP. Just PM me for options.
