i've replaced all the halogen lights with hid and led lights and have also added 2 30w hid lights on the cage. the battery doesn't last to well, i've heard its a weak battery. besides the $180 yellow top optima, what else is there.

May not so much be the battery as it is the charging system.

Have you looked at any of the dry cell batteries?

I have the HID headlight replacement bulbs and 4ea 4" baja designs HID's on the rollbar and I am running the Odessy 1200 dry cell battery. Works perfect!!! will not drain the battery down even if you turn the lights on alone. I think they will stay on for something like 30 to 45 mins without a problem. Then the battery will recharge itself enough to start the vehicle. They are a little pricey but worth it too not get stuck in the dunes.
