Last time I change my oil I broke the speed sensor. I discovered this because my engine was cutting out we're going in limp mode after 10 miles an hour. I have replaced it twice and it's still in limp mode. I tested the sensor for the manual and it's working. If I unplug the ECU while it's running it does not cut the power at speed. any ideas on something else that could be causing this or a way to reset the ECU?
DID you ever get it fixed I'm having the same problem
I know it's a old post but I could use some advice.
I changed the engine actuator,
Speed sensor and the forward and reverse sensor and nothing

did you have any luck? I have no speedometer reading, new speed sensor, n have tested to spec of manual n cuts out/throws belt light after 5mph or so. In limp mode.
No luck yet rite now I'm just throwing parts at it lol.
Crazy thing is it went into limp mode from me unplugging a fuse to the belt actuator . Because the actuator kept buzzing when turned off.
Finally got back to work on the teryx today put a after market ecu on it and I'm running around the yard at least the speed do still dont work. There is still something wrong but the ecu is bypassing it.
