How do you wire an amp

Whats up people, I'm new here and this is my first post.
I was wondering how you guys wire a amp on to a teryx?, btw I have a 2009 teryx LE silver in color.
I have an old 100 watt pioneer amp, and a xm radio that I want to hook up but I don't know where the blue wire goes, the one that turns on your amp when you turn on your stereo. I think its called remote wire.
Thanks for everyone who helps.

first are you going to run a battery that wont let you drain it all the way or just use a normal battery. I personaly will be running a preformance type battery that will let me drain it so I will only wire it to the on side of the key that way I'm less likley to play the radio w/o starting the motor

I'm going to use the stock battery, its only a 100 watt amp.
I want the amp to turn on when I turn on the teryx.
So where does the blue wire(remote)go to?
Adding a xm not a stereo

Slick,

"Only a 100 watt amp" It will run your battery down quickly.

Is that a two channel amp or four. Are you using all four if it is a four channel. Why is this important?

If it is a four channel amp then you will only use 50 watts which will be fine. If it is a two channel then you will be using 100 watts which will run your battery down pretty quickly.

On the blue wire, find a wire that is hot when the key is on and tap into it. Try the 12v plug, I bet it is a keyed hot. I have not checked it myself.

The louder you play it the more amperage it uses. Be careful!!
