hid lights

Has anyone had any expierence with the hid light kits that are out there? I need the most water and mud resistant kit out there. I also would like a kit that can be installed that would let me go back to original if needed. I would hope that there is a good kit out there that does not make me do any mods that change the original buld installation.

I have true Hi/Low HID kits with the slim ballest that is true plug and play kit.. It plugs into the factorty harness and no cutting is required, and yes you can go back to factory.

Ill post picks later today.

Get a GOOD brand from a reputable dealer. I bought the L Halogen H HID kit off Ebay from a nice guy who sells them. Once I had them a little while when you switched to HID, a lot of the time unless you had the engine revved up, only one would light off in HID mode. I would then have to turn them back off and then on sometimes multiple times to get both of them to light. If the machine was not running, it was impossible to get both to light off. I bought them before I found this site, and it was a mistake as they were just not up to the quality standards of some other I have since found.

So, in the end, if I had spent about 45 dollars more, I would be keeping them for my new machine instead of letting them go back with the machine I just wrecked to the salvage company. You get what you pay for.

Which hid light kit does everybody think is the best one to buy. There are some on e bay that are cheaper, but I dont want to buy a kit and it be bad and end up buying a more expensive one later. Of course we all look for a good price and I will spend what ever it is that I need to to get the most reliable one out there. It seems to me that vision is the name brand that I see alot but it also appears that some are selling the kit for $200 and some are selling the same one(unless there is a difference in the 2 ) for $400.
