Welding On the teryx

I plan on chopping the cage on my teryx, just wondering of there is anything besides unhooking the battery to prevent messin up my electrical system.

Might as well unhook the ECU or CDI

Put you ground lead close to where you are welding to reduce chance of frying anything

Do it how ever you chose, but I have been building metal products on atvs and sxs for over 20 years and have NEVER unhooked anything. There is no reason since current flows from the ground of your welder to the stinger or electrode. Same thing as people thinking they might get shocked from holding a piece of metal while someone else is welding it.
