ITP Wheels & Tires

I am in the market for ITP SS212 Chrome 14" 14x6 front 14x8 rear with Mudlite XTR 27x9 14" front and 27x11x14" rear. I e-mail ITP and they said that this set up will ad 2" in the width, one inch for side and I should not have any problem with rubbing. I am sure some of you guys have this set up. I can not exceed 60' over all, first it will not fit in my trailer and this is the max allowed in the ATV trail here in Ontario, Canada. I like the tire that came with my Teryx Sport they run smooth, but not good enough in muddy condition, does the Mudlite has a good ride and is it harder to stir?. Thanks for your help.

It might be a little harder to steer but those are heavy tires and will hurt performance.

I am running that exact set up and works great for me, steering seems fine. They did rob some power, can't slide like the factory tires but for the mud I have around here I need the traction, ran them all winter and worked great in the snow. At slow speeds they are a little rough but on fast hard pack trails they seem pretty smooth, I don't seem to have any problem ripping down the trails with them and still corners good, I should put the factory rims back on to try them out again. I like the staggered fitment and the big rims and tires make the machine look way better than stock. I did have problems with the tires coming off the beads when I first got them but I was running them at lower pressures, around 6-7 psi I think. I was playing in the mud and was stuck in some ruts, got out but the tire came off the bead. Friend has the same set up and he did the samething. Now I have them at 13 psi, ITP recommended to me to run them at 15 psi even thought the tire says 12 psi max, since I raised the psi they have been good.
As for the width the rear should be right at 60", maybe a touch over. I don't have my Teryx here to measure but I carry it in the back of my truck whenever I need to, I have a `04 Chevy 1500 Long Box and it just fits, at the rear the tires squish in between the rear box panel posts, I just measured it and it is 60" between the posts! Hope this helps.

Yes, it does thanks. Now I need to think about it, maybe use the original wheels with the Mudlite 12", like Hunterwork said: those 14" are heavy tires and will hurt performance. Thanks guy's
