windsheild and driver heat mod

got bored today and couldn't ride. so i desided to work on REX. Put piece of metal under the driver seat to help with heat. and then desided to raise the windshield. i dont want a full but needed a couple more inches. well this is just 26ga sheet metal may do a better one later,, or it might give the pros here a idea...plastic would be nice... any how here ya go...

dont know if i will leave it or not... just tring it..but someone could make it out of thicker alum or a piece of plastic..will see how it does and go from there

I just told my friend today I have not put my kawi wind deflector on for that very reason it needs to be about 3 inches taller still looking my rhino shield is perfect that looks great on yours but like you said plexi glass would be better any body out there that could bend plexi glass and make us one ???

really they just need to cut it like the actory bottom...then you could drill and bolt them together, better yet if someone had some winshield mounts we could be in buisness also, put one behind the other and double stick tape em togther for rattles and mount would do the rest.

I think its designed for places that get cold and they want to keep the heat.

The one under the windshield will keep the heat in.
The other one should keep the engine heat off your b*tt.
