opening in hood

Got the nerve to cut my hood today after having it marked with a pencil for about a week.
Should be able to clean rad out easier & can get to it alot easier if water is needed trail side. I think t worked out well. What do you guys think?

Good job man, I have been thinking the same thing, show some close ups of the slides in the back. What did you use for fasteners. I really like that, I have been trying to decide how to do that even before I bought mine,

Thanks, all I used for fasteners is 3/16" pop rivets. I will get a picture of the rear slide later tonight for you. Crow

bigdaddy, the slide or pocket on the back is made of 1/8" puckboard about 1.5" wide with little spacers of the same stuff to make room so the tabs on the hood to slide in. Not to tuff to make.
