Hey codyo, is it possible to take a picture of your bumper. I would really like to see the actual SDR bumper installed. I would like to see the installation points and how far it is away from the tailgate.

My camera is in shop and will not get it for about 2 weeks. but I will post pic when i get it back. It is real close to the bottom right corners and mounts to the 4 frame bolts on the back. It also bolts to the bottom of the bed in the rear. You will not be able to use the bumping action of the bed though.

Those are cool looking bumpers, does anyone have any experience with the SpeedIndustries bumper?? I think its sold over at redart.com...the only quam i have with this bumper is that it doesnt allow the bed to open, this isnt a huge issue with me as I prefer having the ability to take a hit than having one mounted to the bottom of the bed. I also like the idea of it adding to the rigidity of the frame, but that too might not be necessary. I really like the cage extention they made it ties into the bumper which is mounted to the frame...but thats a bit off topic.

My stepdad has the Kawasaki aluminum bumper on his Teryx...but it just mounts to the bottom of the bed, I dont see where its for anything more than looks and maybe keeping a few scratches off of the plastic.
