Winch mounting

I will try to explain this where everyone knows what I am talking about...on the Teryx frame at the front they have the plate where you mount the winch mounting plate. I have a deposit on a Teryx and cannot get by to measure it. Can someone tell me the dimensions on this plate. Just length and width. I am trying to line out my winch mount before I go pick it up Labor Day weekend. I am planning a 2" receiver mount for the winch. Any experiences with this anyone cares to share will be appreciated too.
Anyone in Louisiana that doesn't know...they are having a sportsmans tax free weekend on Labor Day weekend. There is no state or local tax on anything to do with hunting equipment. That is why I have a deposit on this and can't get it until then. No tax on 10,000 is a pretty good savings.

Are you wanting to make one or buy one?

They are very cheap, add a Viper winch to it and less than $300 you can get a 4500lb winch and mount

What I had on my mind was to mount the winch to go into a 2" receiver. I found a 2" receiver to go on the plate right behind the bumper and I wasn't sure how wide the mounting plate was on the machine. I already have a winch that I took off of the quad I sold to buy the Teryx.

That set up sounds good but realize it will act like a shovel cause of it is low and sticks out.

Most people normally don't really swap ends very often either.

If you go this route, call me we have the quick disconnect wiring left over from this set up a few years back.
