I want to see some homemade cabs

As it is getting a tad cooler now I am looking at making my own cab. Probably some sort of a hard cab. Im not one for sewing fabric. Has anyone tried this, im looking for ideas.

I did mine last year, I went with a combo hard top / soft top. My windshield is a metal frame with safety glass, roof is steel, back is steel / soft with the steel lines dropping to a V to match the angles of the stock roll cage and the V section incorporates a triangular safety glass section. The rest is all soft material with windows that I had custom made. I bought myself a Heater from summit racing but never did install it due to the guy not finishing my soft section until march LOL. This winter will be the test. I will see if I can post some pics of what I have done but the soft section isn't mounted yet, too many other projects on the go right now lol.

Anyone heard what the $250 cabs are like on Ebay. I know the price seems right but haven't come across anyone that has bought one. I have been thinking the same thing that either making/piecing a cab together would not be that hard. I already my my own windshield for $50 vs. 200. Rear window I think runs 45 on ebay for canvas/clear window. Roof should be an easy fix with some Alum. The doors is where it gets tricky. Cheapest I've found were $500. I would also like to see the pics if you have. The heater you have does it tie into the coolant system? How much did you lay down for that? I wonder if you could custom fab something out of a car heater core?
