Alot of guys run them. I havent heard of any rubbing, but I have heard that you should run an 8 inch wide rim to prevent the side wall from bubbling

Run the fronts on 8" wheels. The rears were designed for a 10 wide wheel but also work okay on the 8" wides. They can be run on the 7" wide cast wheels but they weren't designed for the narrower wheels and some say they are having problems with the bubbling.

I had them on the DWT rattlesnack cast 7" wheels. You had to run wheelspacers on the front because the sidewall rubbed on the tie rods. The vendor that sold them to me assured me they would fit but they didn't. The rears started to bubble. They did dig in and get stuck a lot in the begining. I did learn how to drive a lot better after getting stuck few times.

I switched to Skats 7 paddles and they are much better. No more getting stuck, holds tops of dunes better, and feels much more peppy.
