Teryx pouring LOTS of oil.

Doing work on a 2010 teryx. My problem is it pours oil out of the crankcase breather tube as soon as you start it up. It will empty the engine out in a matter of a minute. I read on here that someone had a ring issue causing this. I did change the stator cover and the one I got off ebay was a little different. The one that the machine had had a metal plate and two screws holding it on, the metal plate had a hole in it. The one I recieved from ebay didnt have the plate, its just open. The engine has so much pressure that after I run it I can remove the dipstick and i can hear the air hiss. Anyone have any advice?

Heres a pic of the inside of my original cover, notice at the bottom is the metal strip I was talking about. The one I recieved off ebay doesnt have this, its just open though there. The machine never had this problem till I changed the cover, would this cause my problem?

I dunno, its damaged. The timing plug was stripped out. Thats why I changed it. Its hard for me to believe that such a small difference could cause this but what do I know.

Been reading about the oil overfill problem, may check that out.I changed the oil, it held almost 3 quarts but the manual says it holds less. I filled it to the top of the line with the dipstick screwed in.

Hunterworks v force John and others have catch can kits for Kawies. I normally run a bit less oil than full at full screw in of dip stick.

If you can hear air hiss from the dipstick area, your presurizing the crankcase somehow. I would defenitly find the correct stator cover.

Does anyone have any input on the difference between the two cases? Brute Forces use the case without the metal and the teryx uses the one with it as far as I can tell. Would that metal plate with a hole in it control crankcase pressure?
