Rear brake prob

Ok I showed back up to camp saturday night and was informed of issue with brakes, after interigation seeems like the rig was driven for a bit with the f'n er brake on. This thing needs a dumbass light to tell you its on! But beside that..Is the rear brake tough to re-build or do I need to take it in to the shop. The bleeder valve popped open during this process and put brake fluid everywhere. I have not refilled it yet and tryed it but figure it needs help dont want problems...thanks

I agree that it needs a dumbass light to tell when the P brake is one but we are outta luck. I would try and change the fluid out and see how that does, these diffs are fairly tough.

Not really sure what the process is to re-build, however, it is a sealed unit so it might be easier saidi than done.

Did this happen last night on the ride?

It happened last night, but I was on quad cause I let friends borrow teryx and when we were still gone they came back and my son took it out and thats when it happened. The weird thing is the bleeder opened up??? I wonder was this becuase of heat??

Hey what happened to you on the afternoon run, we left and you were with us and then you were gon? That was the only ride I took with you guys, I had fun but will say for my teryx being fairly stock I had no problems keeping up with some of the long travel rhinos!!

It was nice to meet you but did not get much time to BS and drink beer was too busy keeping people happy!!

Ya I guess it was your son behind us on that night run, he was there and then all of a sudden he was gone?

Ya I was going strong down sand highway then blew the belt and had to be towed back to camp

Ok I am a dumbass just went out and checked, I do have yellow light when brake is engaged. Had not even looked at idiot lights really..just used to rhino I guess where the light is red for parking brake.. I am gonna take that wire lead and hook it up to something a little brighter so people do not accidentlly drive with brake on... Again learning damm, I was too busy cahnging roll cage and getting rid of bed and wiring lights to notice something so simple dammmmmmmmmm
