Oil Recommendations

Its about time I change the oil for the first time. Should I just follow the manual or should I run something else? What do you recommend?

Thanks,

Andy

I have not really looked into what the specs are as far as oil.

I have a case of Redline here that I think would work well, but I have a service plan, so I will let them put in the stuff they are until it runs out.

I'm gonna use Amsoil. It is supposed to be great stuff, and the Kawi dealer locally here said that it was a great product too when i told them what I was gonna do. They said just be sure your engine is broke in first, or it can be too good!

Sorry, meant to say that you should make sure it is broken in first before using synthetic oil!!! Nearly 35 hours on mine so will do oil change now to synthetic, did 1 already with regular 10w40.
