Tire repair

Does anyone know if there is a safe way to repair the side wall of my Terra Cross tire that only has 2 rides on?? The puncture is in the middle of the sidewall and is a pinch puncture. I would hate to have to replace a brand new tire after 2 rides, i am in the corona, ca. area and i hope that there is someone local that can do this repair. Any help is appreciated.

I dont think you can fix the side well. Maybe you could find a tube and still use the tire.

It is fixable, depending on how big the rip tear or hole is, I would tube it after a sidewall patch....and go from there. Is it a big tear or hole I guess is the real question?

tire sidewall

It is just a small hole, actually holds air for about 3 days before it goes flat. I heard on one of these forums someone said they can actually do a sidewall patch that is sort of like a (rubber weld) for lack of a better description. Supposed to be as strong if not stronger than original

Question

Sometimes can put a good quality large tire patch on the inside of the tire, proper glue, install it right, then it made hold for awhile, but generally they will leak again, but when? Try it then tube it!

If you attempt the patch, please post back and let us know how it works and how difficult it was to do.
