Chris,

The only problem I see is losing power and maybe tearing something up from all the torque.

Todd, so what's your opinion on tearing something up with the torque. Do you think it's the tires size or the lift. My thought is the lift and 27" tires Big Horns. I'm looking for a little more clearance but I don't wont to tear up anything or really put to much stress on the axles or the like.

Thanx!!

Techincally you do lose power going up in tire size as your gear ratio changes.

So what about the lift? I understand about the 27" bighorns, but how much "real" clearence will the lift give me alone and how about the ware and tear with everything still staying stock?

The lift won't cause you any problems and will give you clearance up the middle of the vehicle.

Bigger heavier tires make you lose power. 27's are fine, 30's are just crazy.

Weight has a lot to do with it to.

Comparing a Mudlite XTR to a Maxxis Zilla's in one size, the difference was 10lbs per tire. The XTR was the heavier.

Thanks for the reply. I think I'm going to go with the lift and 27" tires for a little extra clearence and looks.
