U-joint trouble?

I thought I read somewhere that someone had some trouble with their U-joints going back to the rear diff.
I was running my this weekend on some hardpack trails, some jumps, hard take-offs, etc. And when I just lightly idle off it sounds like my old '74 Chevy truck when I cracked the u-joints on it...
I'm not sure that this sound was there when it was new either - it may have and I've just become slightly paranoid? I dunno...

I've had the same noise and it's usually just the shift linkage out of adjustment

How do I adjust that? It's a real PITA to load this thing up on a trailer and haul it in to the dealer for warranty work if it's easy enough to adjust.

pull off the engine shroud and the shift rod is on the right side. you'll be able to feel the detent in the shifter. also the reverse and neutral lights should come on if adjusted correctly. i have to adjust mine constantly
