Question Fan?

Does anybody know at what temperature the fan kicks on? I just got my trail tech dash in and seems like the fan comes on really early. I have reset the computer to recognize the fan so I am just curious at what temp they turn on thanks.

The fan is set to kick on at 157-162 degrees.

Mine has a tendency of coming on quickly as well...coolant levels are in spec so I am not sure. The good news is though that it is in fact turning on. If it did not, that would not be too good.

Based on the temp from your Trail Tech?

My apologies, 157-162 the thermostat opens, at 205-212 the radiator fan switches on.

That sounds more like it should be.

One thing I noticed that is different on the Teryx than my RZR or Rhino. When you turn the key off, the fan can still come on for a short bit if it is hot enough.

I just installed the trail tech dash. According to my temp readings my fan is kicking on at 225-230 and off around 210-215. Is this normal or too hot? If too hot, how can I fix it?
