it handles the cold fine!
i have a full windshield so i was comfy all day , a high of 19 yesterday.
i was realy impressed in some of the spots i got into and out of! I think Kawi did a great thing with that front diff lock, it's very easy to adjust on the fly, i even featherd it a few times.
I have decided that i want to get bigger tires though! LOL

I am running the ITP XTR's 27's on 14" rims, I pulled a trailer approx. 1500 lbs through a foot of snow and couldn't believe I didn't get stuck. Foot to the floor and I made it out. Love these tires!

You may want to also look at Highlifter MST's for snow and trail riding, they are GREAT tires on the Teryx.

I have the Mudlite XTR's (radial tires). They are 1 1/8" according to the website which seems right. The regular Mudlites come in the AT (3/4") or the XL (1 1/8"). I put them on 14" rims, went with them to get less roll out of the tires for cornering and I want to put on a 4 seat cage, supposed to help and give you better handling for the weight. Love them so far and seem to hold up on high speed cornering, but little sliding like the stock tires! I put the Teryx sideways lots with the originals not anymore on the hardpack trails with the XTR's, atleast that was in the summer, right now I slip and slide everywhere, going to stud the factory tires soon as I get the Teryx running again and it's not -1,000,000 degrees outside!

I run swamp lite 29.5s on mine here in the snow and it really goes. They have an inch and a half of tread on them. The time I did get stuck it took a Ford Explorer 3 tries to snach it out of the diversion ditch I didn't happen to see
