Muzzy Exhaust????

Just a quick question is the Muzzy Exhaust easy for someone to install? I am thinking of buying one from HunterWorks but my dealer won't like it very much if I buy an exhaust from someone else and then ask him to install it!!!! (don't really blame him) Also will I need a Fuel Controller my 09 Fuel injection and do they even make one of those yet ?

Thanks

Yes you can... but to have the other parts would be the best... I still have not seen any CDI's for the 09's as of yet.

Ypu got to start some where...

If you have the FI, best advice is to, no...not yet..sorry...and this is just my opinion. current FI can not compensate correctly, with the extra flow. Again...IMO...unless we have a poster to tell us different...I'd like to hear it......(from someone who is not spending 4 grand to do it anyway)...

I would not add the pipe without a fuel controller. I have a Muzzy Digitune (Dobeck Performance) controller on the way for a RZR to see how it works. I have a local customer who I am installing a Muzzy exhaust and the controller on to test out before we sell them.

After adding the Muzzy to my EFI Rhino and knowing I had to add as much as 10% more fuel along the RPM range I would NOT add the exhaust without the controller.

If you can wait, the best deal is going to be the MSD with ignition and fuel control on it but it will be about four months before it is ready.

These are the reasons why I say buy the carb version if you want to add performance to one.

This makes me a little nervous to be reading. I have the 09 with a muzzy exhaust already added. I have about 20 hours now with no problems to note as of yet. Come on controllers sounds like I need one.
