I've thought it would be a good idea when I'm staying at a motel and my machine is out of sight on my open trailer.

Sounds like a good job for Hunterworks ............. (Hint )

Sorry, not for us. Way too expensive to make and very little return.

Hey Todd. Could you possibly make a retrofit to the existing caps ? Such as your piece would lock into a predrilled hole (of our current caps) and we would use an appropriate glue to permanently secure our current caps to our tanks. Your piece could accept typical aftermarket locking caps already available. Yes , I've given this prior thought.

I think the margin is more like 5%

Sorry no cap from us. Injection molding is way expensive, you have to sell 10,000's of them to make it work out.

Whitey , an idea we could try are (water valve ) Lockout Covers. We use them at the Mill I work at to safely lock a system out before working on it . It's a round hinged hollow cover that keeps you from griping the valve and turning it. It has a place opposite side of the hinge for a lock. They come in all different sizes. I'll take some measurements and see what sizes may fit and let you know. Until we can talk Todd into making something that looks better.
