tinted windshield

i was wondering if anyone as tinted the short windshield or if there is a a reason why it could not be done? im not sure if the tinting material will adhere to the acrylic shield.

earthcrisis, I just installed an enclosed cab for the winter months from PRP Products. reason I mention this is because the soft door & rear windows are slightly tinted. Maybe PRP could set you up with a windshield. Nice idea , good luck.

Thanks for the reply, i am going to take it by my local tint shop tomorrow, i will post pics if it is successful , if not i will never speak of it and pretend it never happened

Just a word of caution, a friend of mine did this to his rhino and its great in daylight, but for night riding, he didnt care that much for it, of course, I guess it depends on how much tint you go with.

Update. I just dropped it off at the tint shop, they cannot use traditional tint because the adhesion is so spotty and it would be a matter of time before it came apart but
they do have a tinted acrylic material used for clear bra ( to protect paint from rocks )
that they are going to try to heat mold to the windshield. More to come this evening....

i have thought about doing mine, but i know for a fact you tint lexan. I had a vendor double coat a welding enclosure
