Chrome column cover for under 10 Bucks.

I never liked the unfinished look of the steering column so I went down to Ace and picked me up a piece of chrome sink drain pipe and a couple of washers. Once I got the parts home I removed the wheel, cut the pipe to the length I needed and was pretty much done. I think it looks a lot better and gives it a more finished look.


You guys know something like this would be at least 50.00 at your local UTV shop..lol

Thx.I used some foam pipe insulator I had and just wrapped it around the shaft tight with electrical tape. I had to twist and push the pipe over it and the pipe went on real tight. Then you just push the washers into place on each end and done. Ive been out a few times since and its not moving.

I agree, it does look like a clean set up. I am also interested in where did you get your shift knob and steering wheel?

Not sure of the brand but I bought it off eBay for about 27.00 shipped. They also have them in Green and Black.

This is kind of funny, I just bought the same steering wheel ( I think? ) and shifter knob this morning off of ebay. Here is the link:
