Best trailer for Teryx to tow?

With all due respect to Mr. Log I'd like to get a trailer to throw logs in. Polar's HD1500 looks to be the right size, strong, dent and corrosion resistant, and has fat tires for good flotation: Polar Trailer | One Tough Trailer.

I thought it would be nice to find something with a suspension, but the trailers with suspensions all seem to have narrow tires, and if I have to choose, I'd rather have no suspension and the fat tires. Easier for the Teryx to pull; less problems for the CVT.

Anyone know what else is out there?

Thanks

I like the adjustable tongue and the optional hydraulic jack. Unfortunately I have had bad experiences wood warping in the CA sun. It looks like a tandem wheel arrangement may be the closest thing to a suspension on these things. There's a trade off; when you drag a tandem around a corner, the tires bind.

These folks make quite a few different types of trailers with suspensions and large ATV type tires. Unfortunately, they tend to be rather heavy: ATV Wagon high performance ATV trailers- ATV Dump Trailer - ATV Dumping Cart -Rhino UTV Trailer- Hunting Trailer -Rhino side by side trailer -Utility Trailer-ATV Pull Behind Trailer

Here's another manufacturer that offers suspensions and ATV type tires: || Nichols Trailers of Wilton, Maine || Welcome! ||

I checked them out. I liked the large diameter ATV wheels that "walked". I didn't like that the trailer is less than 2 feet wide inside. Maybe I should call, they may offer a custom width.

Look closer at their site. The "mule" goat trailer Bed is as wide as a UTV. Where as the 'mountian Goat' trailers are for regular ATV's.

I found it.

I called and unfortunately the sides are only 7" tall. Most of the time they are 12".

I think I'm going to get ATV Wagon's 800 UT-X because of the full size tires, torsion bar suspension, and waist high bed. I don't want to have to bend down to load or unload the trailer. Trailers where the bed is between the tires are very low. Good for some reasons, bad for others.

I will be using mine on ranch roads that are in decent shape. If I was going worse places, I would get one of the lower trailers like the Goat or a Nichols.

Thanks for the help.

Watch that you don't overload torsion bars because when they are torsioned out they tend to snap. Just my experience. I want to build a trailer and if and whenever that year comes about it will be a walking beam (tandam axle like what you said earlier but they are very smooth, put in heavy spindles, and they can rip through wooped out trails like you would not believe - even with weight and they still turn good.)
